RSVP INFORMATION:

The RSVP date is firm, and no exceptions can be made.

There are 3 options when making your RSVP:
  1. Attending - Attend the upcoming ceremony
  2. Postpone - Attend a future ceremony in your city
  3. In Absentia - Receive your documents via post / pick up from campus

If you fail to RSVP by the date indicated, you will automatically be awarded your qualification In Absentia. AIM will hold your documents until we hear from you, and are provided with confirmed postal address, or these are picked up from the campus.

If you would like to pick up your documents, please arrange a time with the Registrar department, and ensure to bring photographic identification with you.

Eligible graduands should contact AIM to ensure that their details are up to date to enable us to send an invitation to the ceremony.


GENERAL INFORMATION

This is a special occasion that will include a guest speaker, student performances, and is followed by light refreshments on conclusion.
 
The dress code for graduands is smart semi-formal.
 
All graduands are required to wear academic dress, comprising of a black gown, hood/stole & trencher/bonnet (included in ticket price).
 
Guest tickets will be issued following the close of the RSVP date once numbers of attending graduands is confirmed as this will affect available guest seats within the venue capacity. You will be asked to indicate the number of guests you wish to attend when booking your ticket, but please note that this is an indication, and guest tickets will be confirmed after the RSVP date has passed.
 

PHOTOGRAPHY

Professional photographers from “Graduation Photography” will be available before and after the ceremony to capture one of your most important days professionally. To save time on the day, and to receive a 25% discount, you are able to pre order some of the services by going to: www.GraduationPhotography.com.au/AIM
 
This service will open 2 weeks prior to the ceremony. Further information on photographic packages will be available on the day.

PLEASE NOTE:

- Graduands to be assembled & dressed in their academic attire 1 full hour prior to the ceremony starting. Please see your invitation for the time from which staff will be available to provide your academic attire.
 
- All graduands are required to sign in to receive their academic attire, and sign out when returning in order to obtain their academic transcript.
 
- Guests are to be seated in the venue 10 minutes before the ceremony begins
 
- Printed tickets for guests are required to gain access into the ceremony
 

GRADUATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

All course requirements must be completed and all results finalised and returned to registrar for confirmation before a student is considered eligible to graduate. Although a student may be confirmed eligible to graduate prior to the date of the upcoming ceremony, this does not guarantee attendance at that ceremony. All conditions regarding RSVP dates still stand and exceptions cannot be made for reasons such as delays in submitting/marking course requirements.
 
Cancellation Policy – There will be no refund of the graduation fee after the RSVP date. If we do not hear from you by the RSVP date, we will assume you are not attending the graduation ceremony and you will receive your testamur in absentia via post.
